I've got a UX-533FD and the touchpad has stopped working. (see screenshot below) 3 Do step 4 (disable) or step 5 (enable) below for what you want to do. I can only change sets regarding mouse peerformance (speed, sensibility, icons etc), but i don't see how to set the touchpad. Let's skim through the steps here: Step 1: Click on 'Start' and go to the 'Control Panel' tab. On the right, find the “Turn off Aero Shake window minimizing mouse gesture” setting and double-click it. We just made the switch this year to take away their admin rights so we are still finding things. However, some people prefer to use a traditional mouse instead. If I dismiss the credential prompt, all settings become disabled. Using this app, we can either enable the Windows Settings management of the touchpad, or optionally revert back to the legacy settings where we control it through the Dell Touchpad Assistant app. Step 2: Then look for the Mice and other pointing devices section. NOTE: If you want to completely turn off the touchpad, please refer to our 3 ways to turn off the touchpad in Windows 10 guide. We don't want do give admin rights to normal users for sure. If you primarily use your touchscreen or mouse to get around, here's how to disable the touchpad on Windows 10. I've tried to create a profile in the synaptics settings but that doesnt work either.
